QTC Scientist
Quantum Technology Center
Institute for Research in Electronics & Applied Physics

I am a staff scientist at the Quantum Technology Center under the direction of Prof. Ron Walsworth, where I lead efforts to develop quantum sensors for applications in the physical sciences, life sciences, and industry. One of my current projects is to develop nitrogen-vacancy (NV) quantum sensors in diamond to be used for the directional detection of neutrinos and dark matter particles.

Previously, I completed a PhD in atomic physics and precision measurement in the Gabrielse lab at Harvard University, where I made several important contributions to the the next generation ACME III experiment which is projected to measure the shape of the electron’s charge with an order of magnitude improvement in sensitivity.
