What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?
UMD has a great engineering school, along with a welcoming culture that makes it easy and fun to be a student here.
Best Experience with a Class or Project
In ENES 100, me and a small team of other engineers were tasked with making an autonomous over-terrain vehicle (OTV). Instead of going the usual, safe route of making an OTV with wheels, we decided to challenge ourselves by making an OTV with legs. We had so much fun learning new things, such as soldering, biomechanical walking with only 2 degrees of freedom, and 3D printing various components for assembly.

Favorite Research or Study Abroad Experiences
I haven't done any research or studied abroad just yet, but I'm always looking for opportunities!
Cool Engineering Experience
I had the opportunity to get up close and personal with NASA's newest telescope, the Nancy Grace Roman Space Telescope, and see the precise science, protocols, and equipment that NASA engineers use to create a novel piece of technology.
