Our campus hosts a number of career fairs each year. These are a great way for you to:
- make contact with multiple employers at one time,
- learn about organizations and opportunities in your field, and
- hopefully be invited for an in-person interview.
If you think of the 2-3 minute exchange with an employer at a career fair as a mini job interview, you can prepare for it accordingly.
Accommodations for the career fair are available. Specific accommodations should be requested at least 2 weeks prior to the career fair by contacting the University Career Center at ucc-studenthelp@umd.edu.
For each in-person fair, please note individual registration suggestions; students are welcome regardless of advance registration.
For virtual fairs, registration is required on Handshake.
