Our Mission

Is to provide students with the support needed to navigate the A. James Clark School of Engineering through education about curriculum and academic policies in an effort to guide them on their path to graduation.  We do this by serving as a resource for all students as well as departments, the college, and the greater campus community.

Engineering Academic Services (EAS) strives to create a welcoming, inclusive, and supportive environment for all students.  Our primary role is individual advising for undecided engineering and prospective transfer students.  We also assist engineering students on a number of related issues and are committed to the success of all Clark School students.

A Silver-Certified Green Office

True sustainability happens when it is embedded into our core operation. The Green Office Program engages staff, faculty and students in a dynamic initiative that promotes best environmental practices at the University of Maryland. The program supports and promotes offices/units that are taking steps toward reducing their environmental footprint. It seeks to motivate environmentally friendly behaviors by providing definitive guidelines and reducing confusion about best practices. The program operates through a network of representatives (GO Reps) in schools, centers and administrative units.
