What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?
UMD is a fantastic school that offers numerous opportunities for its students and stands out with its diverse, multicultural environment. Its strong connections to industry leaders in my field played a significant role in my decision. Additionally, as a former enlisted member and NROTC participant, the presence of military ROTC units on campus was another key factor that made UMD the right choice for me.

Best Experience with a Class or Project
I had the opportunity to work on a project about the evolution of technology in aircraft carriers for my NAVY101 class. Researching the history of this technology and connecting it to engineering was incredibly insightful. The process of writing and exploring how advancements have shaped modern aircraft carriers deepened my understanding and appreciation for the field.
