Class of 2024
Major: Bioengineering
Hometown: Bel Air, MD
High School: Patterson Mill Middle/High School

What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?
I decided to attend UMD because of the amazing community and diversity on campus and in the Clark School. Additionally, UMD has some of the most advanced research and study facilities in the country.

Best Experience with a Class or Project
During my ENES 100 Class (Introduction to Engineering Design), we were given the task at creating a product that solved a problem. Our group chose to design a device that alerts students when they forget to put on a mask before leaving their dorm room due to COVID-19. We learned how to code in Arduino, use 3D printers, and even create a prototype commercial with our group.

Favorite Research or Study Abroad Experiences
Unfortunately I have not yet been involved with research or study abroad experiences, but I hope to in the near future.

Cool Engineering Experience
One cool engineering experience I have done is an internship at Aberdeen Proving Grounds where I was involved with their computer science and technology development center called the C5ISR center. I helped code and organized devices for soldiers in the field.
