What Made You Decide to Attend UMD?
I decided UMD not only because it was close to home but because it was filled with diversity and support. It had the Civil Engineering major I wanted with a lot of opportunities to work with major construction companies in the area.

Best Experience with a Class or Project
My best experience was in ENES100 when me and my team built an autonomous vehicle #DataTeam is the best. I learned how to solder for the first time and came up with the design of the vehicle. It was cool to see something that was on paper come to life!

Favorite Class In Major
ENCE215: Engineering for Sustainability

Favorite Class Out of Major
MUSC215: World Popular Musics and Identity

Student Organizations/Extracurricular Activities
ClarkLEAD
Society of Women Engineers
Terps Against Hunger

Favorite On-Campus Event
My favorite campus event is the NextNow Festival in the beginning of the year and their silent disc-glo's. It's fun to go with friends and you can do anything arts related from K-Pop dance classes to watching artist perform your favorite song.

Favorite Research or Study Abroad Experiences
I have not had the opportunity to do either yet, but am looking forward to doing so!

Cool Engineering Experience
"A memorable engineering experience was building a truss in ENES102. Cooperating with my team to design a truss and then being able to saw the wood, glue it down, and compete against our class was great. We were all
oooo-ing and ahhhh-ing as we tested the truss waiting for to see how strong it was and when it would fail."
