As the instructor for BIOE 120 and 121, Dr. Jones prepares new bioengineering students for their future engineering coursework and sets them on the path for successful bioengineering careers. She describes herself as "constantly amazed" by the human ability to invent and create, and uses this enthusiasm to inspire students to explore beyond mere course objectives and grades. Her goals are to help students hone their problem-solving abilities, to nurture their curiosity, and to foster a desire for life-long learning.
