Drew Pre-Medical/Health Society along with American Medical Student Association (AMSA), UMD Pre-Medical Society, Delta Epsilon Mu (DEM) and UMD Pre-Dental Society for a lecture by Dr. Robert E. Fischell.
Dr. Fischell, founder of Angel Medical Systems Incorporated and the Clark School's Fischell Department of Bioengineering, has invented and currently maintains over 200 patents for biomedical devices such as stents, pacemakers, and insulin pumps. Biotechnology is a prevalent topic in health care and attending this event will provide you with the knowledge to impress your interviewers! This event will take place on Thursday, April 19th at 5:30pm in the Charles Carroll Room of the Stamp Student Union. Refreshments will be served.
