What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I'd love to be able to give incoming first-year students a better idea of what they might experience on campus as engineers. I know that engineering can be daunting at times so as a ClarkLEADER I'll be able to welcome new engineering students and answer any questions they might have about engineering or UMD in general!

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I really enjoyed hearing about all of the other ClarkLEADERS' experiences in classes and around campus. I also liked getting to know some people that I might be seeing in my classes later on during the year.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Make sure to budget your time properly and always be sure to seek extra help whenever you need it. Take advantage of tutoring services that are provided on campus and through the Clark School!

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
I'm involved with UMD's college radio (WMUC), Society of Women Engineers (SWE), American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), and the Flexus Women in Engineering Living and Learning Program!

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
Designing a brand new product for my senior year engineering capstone project and learning how to use power tools like band saws, drills, and belt sanders in order to bring our product to life was super cool.
