What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
Entering college, I found that my best resource was older students who have gone through what I was about to experience and already had an understanding of what was an all new environment for me. I hope by being a ClarkLEADER, I'm able to be this resource for a new freshman within the Clark school and help them learn more about what it means to be an engineering student at UMD!

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
Being able to talk to the other new students at my table and learn more about their background and what their interest was in engineering.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Try to become good friends with the people in your major! Having people to work with and ask questions to is an extremely useful resource and will help tons.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
I'm apart of the Scholars: Science and Global Change Program, Engineers Without Borders, Women in Engineering, and iGEM

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
For our ENES 102 class, there is a truss project at the end of the semester and I enjoyed being able to work in the woodshop for the first time.
