Major:  Fire Protection Engineering

What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I was inspired to join ClarkLEAD by my ability to get more involved in the engineering community as well as inspiring others to do the same. I came into UMD as a non-engineering major so I wasn't able to experience ClarkLEAD. Therefore, when I saw the opportunity to get involved, I jumped at the opportunity. I want to create a community for both the new and incoming engineering majors.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Engineering is difficult but if you surround yourself with like majors you will begin to understand that everyone is going through the same struggles. So just keep pushing through and trying your hardest as the success pays off when you are able to tell people you are an engineering major.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
I am a part of Lean on Me and the Arrival Survival Team (AST).

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
My favorite engineering experience was definitely the OSV project in ENES100. My team was the fire team and we made a super cool Lighting McQueen OSV. It was so cool to see all of our hard work pay off.
