She/Her
Class of 2026
Major: Bioengineering
Hometown: Clarksburg, MD
High School: Clarksburg High School

What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
Meeting the incoming freshman, talking with them about my college experience, and letting them know what to expect from college would be a great way for me to connect with new people and help the students ease into college better.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
Being able to meet friends in engineering at the start of the school year was a great way to know have some familiar faces in classes.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Engineering is going to be a very tough subject and there may be days where you doubt yourself and your capabilities, but remember you are here for a reason. You were admitted to the Clark School because the admissions office knew you were capable enough to go through with this major!

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
Theta Tau, iGEM, and Biomedical Engineering Society.

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
ENES100 was a really interesting experience because as a BIOE, I have no experience with coding and electrical components. This class helped me get out of my shell and explore different engineering disciplines.
