What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
Being an engineering student at the University of Maryland has become a huge part of my life. I love being on campus and spending time with people who I can relate to. I want everyone that goes here to be able to share that same passion.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Talk to people that share your interests and are going through the same things as you. Also, try to surround yourself with people that know more than you. This helps you build a strong support structure and it will naturally allow you to improve yourself.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
My primary club focus is being a member of the Terrapin Rockets team. I am also a member of the Skateboarding Club and Pakistani Student Association.

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
Joining the Terrapin Rockets team has allowed me to work on some amazing projects. I am a member of the Solids team where we fabricate the motor for the rocket. Going to launches and seeing our team rockets launch 10000 feet in the air is a crazy thing to see, and I’m proud to be a part of it.
