Major:  Bioengineering

What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I wanted to become more involved in the Clark School and be able to fulfill that leadership role for incoming students.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I liked the statistics and different stories that we were able to hear about the experiences of others.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
One piece of advice I would give is to take advantage of all the resources available such as the career center. I feel that I have learned a lot and am better prepared in relation to resumes and cover letters etc.

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
My favorite project was developing a contact tracing app to limit and track COVID-19 cases in refugee camps with my ENES100 group. This app was designed to help detect if a person has had any contact or was exposed to someone with COVID-19. It took my team and I the entire semester, but being able to see the final product and the feeling of accomplishment was the best.
