What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I remember going to ClarkLEAD my freshman year knowing barely anyone. When I left, I felt prepared because I met people who I still talk to today. This event introduced me to people who I can connect to on an academic level and it really set up the reality of what I would experience for the next 4 years. I realized that these were the people I’m going to work with and graduate with, so ClarkLEAD was an amazing introduction to start it all.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
When you enter a class, remember that everyone is in the same boat, so don’t be afraid to say hello. The connections you make in these classes can become great study buddies in the future.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
I’m currently not in any clubs, but I have tried a few including Terps Racing and Crochet Club. I’m still on a search for a club that fits me!

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
At the end of my Intro to Engineering class, my team and I were so shocked that our vehicle somewhat worked. There was a burst of excitement from the professor and the TA because I don’t think anyone of us expected the outcomes we got.
