Class of 2026
Major:  Aerospace Engineering
Hometown:  Kent Island, MD

What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I want to show the incoming freshmen at the Clark School what there is to love about UMD. I want to share my experiences so that they can be more prepared for their first year.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I really enjoyed the activities fair intermission. It was a great opportunity to see all of the extracurriculars Maryland Engineering has to offer.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Put some structured time aside every week to rest or have fun. Engineering is busy, so make sure you have time to spend time with friends and explore campus.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
Within aerospace, I am involved in SEDS@UMD on the THEIA CubeSat team and AIAA. I am also an incoming member of the QUEST Honors Program Cohort 41 and a part of the Club Sailing Team.

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
I have really enjoyed my time in SEDS working on THEIA. I have learned a lot about what a career as a spacecraft systems engineer could look like while getting hands on technical experience building a satellite!
