Milo Gill

Class of 2026
Major:  Bioengineering
High School:  Winston Churchill High School

What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I wanted to be able to connect to the next gaduating class of engineers that are just starting out. Not long ago I was in their place and I want to be able to support my peers and show them the amazing things they’ll be able to achieve.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed getting to sit at a table of my peers and learn about all of our similarities and differences. I also liked getting to know what my journey through college would look like.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Talk to as many new people as possible and go to any events you can. You’ll never know who you will find in classes later on. Connections are important.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
College Park Scholars, Terrapin Photography Club, and paints and shells.

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
I got to design and print out a series of silhouettes of a cat on a lazer printer, and when assembled they formed a 3D cat head replica.
