What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I wanted to become a ClarkLEADER because it is the first chance for incoming students to really be introduced to the Clark School community! I want to give new students a welcoming, enjoyable time and help introduce them into Engineering at Maryland!

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
The part I enjoyed most was being able to interact with a bunch of different engineering student organizations. Everyone was extremely welcoming and I loved talking to older students and listening to their advice and knowledge.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Focus on yourself, sometimes academics may feel like a competition, but remember that everyone is on their own different path and do not constantly compare yourself! Enjoy what you do and there is so much support to excel at Maryland!

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
I am a part of the Clark School Senate, Alpha Chi Sigma, Undergrad Research, Peer Mentoring, and the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AICHE).

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
A cool experience I’ve had is joining a chemical engineering research lab, and being able to grow my knowledge and experience doing so! It’s been such a learning opportunity and I genuinely enjoy every time I go into lab and get to research!
