What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I was inspired to become a ClarkLEADER because I have a passion for engineering and want to give incoming students a proper welcome into the Clark school. I think it’s important that they feel welcomed here at UMD.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed the club fair, the time when we were exposed to all the major options, and the different academic clubs available to engineering students.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Push yourself. Time will fly by so make sure that you spend it well and create valuable and memorable experiences, push yourself to make the most of your time here.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
I am a member of the ETE Scholars program. I enjoy playing basketball and other sports on campus and would like to get involved with more clubs soon.

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
I really enjoyed my ENES100 project. We had to construct a small robotic vehicle that would accomplish a task. It was a team project that took a lot of work and iterations but was really rewarding in the end.
