What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I became a ClarkLEADER because of my experience transitioning to college. I hope to be a resource for the new class of engineers who are learning to navigate this new part of their lives.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
The part of ClarkLEAD I enjoyed the most last year was the engineering organization showcase. It was super cool to see everything Maryland had to offer and get a taste of the clubs I could join.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Challenges are a normal and embraced part of the college engineering experience, and it's important to learn how to deal with them head on. If you don't succeed, you can't let your confidence crumble, and you have to continue to try again.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
I'm a member of UMD Loop, a club that utilizes a wide range of engineers in order to create a rover to compete in the University Rover Challenge. Outside of engineering, I am a member of the Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority!

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
Getting to see a part that I designed be brought to life and used has absolutely been the coolest engineering experience I've had so far.
