What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
ClarkLEADERs foster a mentorship by sharing their experiences and advice for the incoming class of engineers. Going into engineering, let alone college, can be a substantial transition, but with the help of upperclassmen can really ease the process.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
When I attended ClarkLEAD, I remember meeting engineers from different backgrounds, creating friendships, and learning about all the clubs and organizations for engineers.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
One thing I wish I enforced is that it is perfectly normal to feel scared or overwhelmed because everyone around you is feeling the same way. So do not be afraid to reach out to make new friends or ask questions.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
I am a part of the Integrated Life Sciences (ILS) Honors College, I volunteer with Kits to Heart, and I plan on starting bioengineering research in summer 2023!

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
ENES100 was a fun class and experience in which I was able to bond with other engineers while building and learning about the different components of a vehicle. At the end of the semester, it was cool to see everyone's ideas and projects at the showcase.
