What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
The desire to become more involved in the Clark Engineering community was my primary motivation to become a ClarkLEADER. I love interacting with other people in the STEM community and would never turn down an opportunity to engage with future engineers.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
It's all about the journey. From learning new concepts in class to going to social events and living the college experience, just try to fall in love with the process and live in the moment.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
I enjoy playing basketball as a member of the Maryland's Men's Club Basketball Team. I've also been active in the Black Engineers Society and Student Service Leadership Community. I would definitely recommend finding some clubs and organizations early on during your time at Maryland!

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
A few months ago, I started the process of building a semi-functional iron man suit for next Halloween! I've used some of the resource available to me through Maryland, like the machine shop in the engineering lab and 3D CAD software from TerpWare.
