What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I want to connect with the next generation of Maryland engineers! Engineering is a challenging discipline, and I'm so much better off because of the upperclassmen I've had the opportunity to interact with and learn from. I'd like to pass on the lessons I've learned!

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Study groups are so helpful! Having other people with you and a structured time provides an incentive to do work (hang out with friends!) while preventing procrastination and ensuring that you've corroborated the concepts you've learned with other people.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
I'm a part of BMES (Biomedical Engineering Society), AEMB (Alpha Eta Mu Beta Biomedical Engineering Honors Society), and The Catalyst (Biomedical Engineering Undergraduate Research Journal). I also work at the Huang Lab as an undergraduate research assistant!

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
Would recommend participating in the Alumni cup! Every year in February, all of the engineering departments compete to design the best Rube Goldberg Machine. It's a great way to really think outside the box and work with your friends to prove that your department is the best!
