What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I was inspired to become a ClarkLEADER after attending the freshman welcome event for engineers last year. I was pleasantly surprised by how welcoming all the students are and it made me less scared to start the school year. Because of that, I would like to help out future students the same way.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed most the activity that involved the students discussing how they have faced adversity. It was nice to see how open people are to discussing such topics.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Do not be afraid to ask for help! Attend office hours, go to tutoring, get involved in study groups.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
I am involved in Black Engineers Society, American Society of Civil Engineers, Women in Engineering, and a coffee club that we have on campus.

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
A cool experience was building an Over-Terrain Vehicle in ENES100!
