What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I was nervous entering my first year in engineering because I was worried about not only the intensity of courses but having a solid social life and friendships as well. After my first year, I realized all of my worries had been lifted, and I want to be able to speak to first-year students who are nervous like I was about how I came to love being in the Clark School.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
SWE - Society of Women Engineers is a great place to meet other Women in Engineer
Wags for Wellness - Every month, therapy dogs will come to Stamp for anyone and everyone to pet and destress with.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
My favorite part of the event when I attended last year was being able to have meaningful conversations with my new peers, and see what we all have in common.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Make use of all your discussions! Get help early on and often, whether it be from professors, TAs, tutors on campus, or even your friends.
