Before becoming Senior Vice President, Monica worked at Baltimore Gas & Electric as an engineer and senior business analyst. Monica then moved on to become Assistant Director and director for the Housing Authority of Baltimore City (HABC). During her career, she developed the Energy Department at HABC, managed over $88 million in infrastructure improvements and energy conservation measures through a self-managed EPC Program, facilitated HUD mandated 5-year Energy Audit of all HABC properties, and developed 2nd phase EPC for over 20 properties. She is an AEE Certified Energy Manager and a board member on Suited to Succeed.
