What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I wanted to give back to the Clark School community and help the incoming class have a great start to their year and career at UMD.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
IEEE is a great organization for all engineers specifically electrical and computer engineers. It’s just starting back up after being dormant because of COVID-19, so it’s a great chance to meet new people and help rebuild a great group.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed getting to talk to a group of random students and hearing about what was to come in the next year.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Find your own community within the Clark School. It can be daunting to be a part of such a big program, but finding ways to make it smaller can help you to make great connections and grow in all aspects.
