You don’t have the self-pressure of obtaining good grades in order to succeed, but there is the constant pressure of getting the things you are asked for done in order to prove you are an efficient professional. What advice would you give other UMD engineering students seeking an internship? Be involved in extracurricular activities such as EWB or ASCE or any other student organization that fits you. You’ll have interesting things to talk about in interviews, and it shows employers that you are an engaged student that seeks to learn and help at any cost.
How has this experience enhanced your engineering education at Maryland? From now on I will know how the information I learn in school can be applied in real life situations.
