Why would you recommend this experience to other students? My internship experience has given me confidence in my ability to learn new skills and information, in both professional and academic settings. What advice would you give other UMD engineering students seeking an internship or co-op position? Definitely try to be persistent! It can take a lot of applications, a lot of follow-ups, and a lot of phone calls in order to finally receive an offer.
