What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
The Clark School provides many opportunities to feel a part of a community at such a big school and being a ClarkLEADER is one of those. This program made me feel more welcomed as an incoming freshman and I am excited to help the current freshmen begin their engineering journey!

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
As for engineering, I have enjoyed Women in Engineering, the Society of Women Engineers, and Engineers Without Borders. I also love to play intramural sports and use the gym on campus to get a break!

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed getting to meet fellow freshman engineering students that I otherwise would not have met and talk to upperclassmen about the Clark School and UMD experience.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Work hard and make sure to stay on top of your education but also remember the importance of balance and taking time for yourself. Also, take advantage of every opportunity you can!
