Piece of the Clark School Lifts Off
A Clark School flag will accompany astronaut Robert Satcher on space shuttle Atlantis flight STS-129 to the International Space Station this month.
STS-129 is scheduled to launch on November 16, weather permitting. During the mission, the Clark School's flag will be unrolled and a photo taken.
"NASA and the Clark School have a long and close association--involving research, education and student recruitment--that this banner symbolizes," stated Clark School Dean Darryll Pines. "We're very proud to have that partnership represented in this way, and will display the banner on campus for all to see."
