To this day I still lean on my engineering background. I tell people all the time I learned how to critically think and problem solve by studying to be an engineer. I have been blessed to leverage this throughout my career as a spine surgeon. Remember to always dream big and aim for the stars even if you fall short, you're still in the heavens!

Getting involved with clubs and showing my collaborative and team skills definitely helped.
