The opportunity to welcome the next generation of Clark School students and give them first-year advice that I wish I knew.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Make sure to manage your time properly. While getting a good grade in classes and studying is important, it’s also important to understand that you’re only in college once. Enjoy the activities UMD has to offer, go to tailgates and sporting events, meet new people, and enjoy your time in college.
