What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
As an incoming senior, I love being able to share my past experiences and help new students navigate their first year and all the questions and concerns that come with starting a new school.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
The Biomedical Engineering Society (BMES) is great for bioengineering students looking to meet people in their major. There are professional networking events, the Meet Your Professors series, community service opportunities, and more.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
Get involved! Classes may take up a lot of time, but clubs and sports are a great way to meet friends and even study buddies. I highly recommend going to the First Look Fair to learn about clubs both within the engineering school and beyond.
