Meet Funke Okunrinboye ’20, M.S. ’21. Currently pursuing her third degree from Maryland (a Ph.D. in chemical and biomolecular engineering), she was honored at the 2023 Scholarship & Fellowship Celebration, which acknowledges the generosity of and impact made by Maryland Engineering’s extended community of donors.

The Clark Doctoral Fellows Program, an initiative of the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation, supports high-performing Ph.D. students with four years of funding. As an impetus for research in strategic and vital areas, the Clark Doctoral Fellows Program supports 30 first-year doctoral students each year.
