What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
To help future engineers have an easy transition into college, and provide some advice I wish I had.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
College is about balance. Academics are important, but make time for friends, hobbies, and things you enjoy, whether it’s sports, clubs, or just relaxing. College isn’t only about grades. It’s about becoming a well-rounded and good person.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
I recommend checking out The Sandbox at UMD. It is one of the makerspaces on campus and is a great space for students to collaborate on engineering projects and try out new ideas. Also, Terps Racing is an awesome team where you get hands-on experience designing and building a race car while working with other students.
