What motivated me to be a ClarkLEADER was the opportunity to engage with my community and offer help and support to incoming students.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
We all want each other to succeed, don’t be afraid to ask a classmate or friend for help.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Women in Engineering, TerrapinWorks, and intramural flag football!

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
Meeting new people and listening to current students’ challenges and successes.
