How did you find your internship?  I found it through Career4Engineers while researching companies to visit for a virtual career fair.

What campus activities or courses do you think helped you, or would have helped you, with this internship?  Getting involved with clubs and showing my collaborative and team skills definitely helped. I also reached out to professors whose projects interested me and gained some research experience that way.

How would you describe the company culture? What was the most helpful thing your supervisor did to make you feel comfortable at the organization?  The company culture was very professional, but welcoming.  All of the full-time employees took time to introduce themselves to us and offer advice. During long visits with other engineers and/or my supervisor, everyone made an effort to get to know everyone rather than just focusing on work.

Was there a formal program for all interns at the company?  Was peer support available throughout the internship?  Yes, FM Global has offices all across the world that that hire interns. Additionally, it wasn't just limited to engineering; there were HR interns, business interns, and IT interns.

How have your career or academic goals changed as a result of this internship experience?  Having had a lot of research experience, I wanted to try consulting out.  After my internship, I definitely found a passion for the client-oriented and consulting aspects of engineering.
