What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
During my first year in college, I learned a lot about how to navigate through college life and make the most out of my time at UMD. I wanted to be a ClarkLEADER in order to tell incoming students what I learned my first year and give them the advice that I wish I would have had when I came into college.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Instead of waiting until exam season to study, I would recommend that you review the content you’ve learned each week. This will allow you to better understand what you are learning and help you figure out if you need to seek assistance in a specific area of the class before you move on to new content.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Bioemedical Engineering Society (BMES), Wags for Wellness, and campus ministries.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I liked being able to ask any specific questions that I had in a more one on one setting.
