I had a good experience with my welcome event last year and wanted to help welcome the new engineers this year.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Say yes to anything and everything in the first few months, it’s how you get to know people who will be in your classes and make friends.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Professional engineering fraternities like Theta Tau and hands on clubs like Leatherbacks or Robotics at Maryland.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
The chance to hear about older students’ experiences.
