What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
After being a ClarkLEADER last year, I found the experience to be very fulfilling as I was able to help incoming students learn more about engineering at UMD and assuage any worries they had.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
The advice I would give is to take everything at your own pace, and that things will work out even if you don't expect them to.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
The Terrapin Anime Society's Animusic subgroup is awesome and if you have any interest in Japanese music you should check it out.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed hearing the personal success stories from other Maryland Engineering students as it made me feel really motivated and reassured.
