What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
The Clark School is full of opportunities and people who are passionate about their studies. I want to help incoming engineering students navigate these resources and find their place at UMD inside and outside of the classroom!

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Join a club or hang out with a new group of people! The people you surround yourself with will make a huge impact on your experience, so make sure you find the right people for you!

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Dacadence Acapella group is an amazing club for those passionate about singing! It is an extremely welcoming and hardworking group and it really helped me to feel grounded as an incoming freshman.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed being able to ask casual questions with current engineering students! It was helpful to get advice people who had gone through the process while also meet my peers who were friendly but clearly hardworking.
