What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I had a great experience in the Clark School of Engineering my freshman year because it has so much to offer and I want to make sure new students are excited to make the most of the opportunities ahead of them.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Always be open to trying new things. Make sure you manage your time well and don't spread yourself too thin, but be adventurous because there are so many ways to get involved.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
When I got to Maryland I joined the Men's Club Crew team which was really great for making new friends and staying disciplined. Another organization that I used as a resource was the Math Success Program which offers free drop in tutoring on any math class you take as an engineer.

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
Getting to hear from upperclassmen engineers about their experiences was really cool and got me excited for my first year.
