What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I am motivated to be a ClarkLEADER because I remember participating in ClarkLEAD as a freshman, so volunteering to help onboard future Clark engineers is a great way to give back to others and the Clark School. Volunteering for ClarkLead also piques my excitement to get to know other Clark engineers.
What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
It takes time to adjust to a university environment. Knowing that there are plenty of academic resources readily available is a great way if you are struggling or need help in one of your classes. There are also additional resources that the University and Clark School offer, like counseling and personal growth assistance.
What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Intramural and club sports are a great way to stay physically active as a Terp engineer.
If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed learning more about the Clark School's history and the resources they provide to all engineering students.
