Robert '61 & Lenore Briskman

Mr. Briskman is President of Telecommunications Engineering Consultants (TEC) and President/CTO of GuardianSat. He co-founded Sirius Satellite Radio in 1991 and then served as Technical Executive of Sirius XM Radio. Over the prior 32 years, he directed the implementation of satellite telecommunications systems at COMSAT, GEOSTAR and NASA. Mr. Briskman holds engineering degrees from Princeton University and University of Maryland, is a Member of the NAE and a Fellow of the IEEE and AIAA. He has published over 70 technical papers, holds many patents, been given several awards and been inducted into the CEA Consumer Electronics, International Astronautical Federation, Space Foundation, SSPI and University of Maryland Innovation Halls of Fame.
