What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I was motivated by my peers that I met at my ClarkLEAD experience and those I have met throughout my first year at Maryland! I have truly learned a lot about myself and what it means to be apart of Clark Engineering and I would love to share that with upcoming Clark students.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Never doubt your place at Clark! You have worked hard and will continue to throughout your time here, this is a place to explore, learn, and grow all around.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Latino Student Union (LSU), SHPE UMD, LSAMP, Women in Engineering, Club Sports (esp. soccer), Black and Latinx in Stem (BLIS).

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I enjoyed hearing first hand accounts about students difficulties throughout their time at Clark. It allowed for me to understand that there is a lot of support within the Clark school which allows students to surpass those difficult moments.
