What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I wanted to share my experiences with new students as other did for me. I was a first generation student who felt like a imposter, but now I am about to graduate. I want others to know they belong and can make it also.
What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Try new things. Whether it is professionally or socially, this is your chance to do something you have always wanted. You may hate it but at least you tried and have stories to tell.
What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Women's rowing club, Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, rock climbing club, and the student-run radio station WMUC-FM.
