What inspired you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I wanted to welcome other engineering students and help them ease into college. Additionally, it's another great opportunity to practice my leadership skills.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering students?
During my Fall semester, I took Mechanics I and I didn't really study for it as much as I could have. I kind of just reviewed the notes and practice problems we did in class, which didn't get me very far with my exam scores. After learning my lesson, I did go to office hours and did more practice problems from previous years. If I had taken studying more seriously initially, I wouldn't have had to play a risky game of catching up with new course material. The faster you take studying seriously, the easier things will go. And most importantly, you belong.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you are involved with on campus?
I am involved in Engineers Without Borders and Filipino Cultural Association. I also go to the Eppley Center frequently.

What is a cool engineering experience you've had?
In ENES100, we got to build an autonomous vehicle in a team. It gave a lot of insight as to what the engineering field looks like and what technical skills come in useful.
