What motivated you to become a ClarkLEADER?
I wanted to be a Clark leader to help ease the transition into college for incoming freshmen. The University of Maryland is a huge school, especially its engineering school. I want to help new students find their way and feel comfortable calling UMD their home.

What is one piece of advice you would like to share with new Maryland Engineering Students?
Everyone struggles at one point or another, so don't be afraid to ask for help.

What are some organizations or extracurricular activities you think new students should know about?
Some organizations for incoming engineers that may be helpful are the Society of Women Engineers, Engineers Without Borders, and the Keystone program. One fun extracurricular I highly recommend is participating in intramural sports!

If you attended ClarkLEAD as a first-year student, what did you enjoy most about the event?
I most enjoyed being able to talk to my ClarkLEADER and hear all of his advice about navigating campus and life as an engineer.
